Last month we had the pleasure of exhibiting at the East Anglian Festival Network Show held at the Ipswich Town Hall and Corn Exchange. The show is now in its third year, and this year sustainability was a key feature on the agenda.
It was a pleasure to be involved in this year’s event and to connect with so many festival and event organisers, venues, suppliers traders and performers from across East Anglia.
Photo Cutouts on Sustainability
Our team was on hand to answer any questions on the sustainability of our products from show delegates. With events and festivals working tirelessly to eradicate wastage from their events we were keen to address what we are doing at Photo Cutouts to help reduce waste.

What are Photo Cutouts products made from?
Our freestanding photo cutout boards, photo stand-ins and photo walls are made from a lightweight foam PVC. Designs are printed onto a quality matt vinyl, applied to the board and mounted onto an aluminum frame system. Steel legs make the photo board stand firm. The depths of the legs are manufactured according to the height of the photo board, to guarantee stability.
Can Photo Cutouts be recycled?
Yes! We will happily assist in recycling any unused photo boards. Once dismantled, cutouts can be recycled accordingly. The PVC board can be recycled when no longer required, however, the material is designed to be used time and time again. We suggest that for yearly events, such as summer festivals, Christmas markets and other seasonal events, you chose a design that will be relevant year after year.
The aluminum frame and steel legs are both very easy to recycle.
Check out this photo cutout that has been used at East Anglian Festival Network Show for the second year running. Between events, the legs are removed and the board is stored flat, ready to use again at the next EAFN Show.
Can you hire photo cutouts?
Yes, our stock designs of photo cutouts, photo stand-ins and photo walls are available to hire. This also helps to reduce wastage at events. Our hire boards can be temporarily branded with your event or business logo and include social media handles to encourage photo sharing.

Introducing Designs on Print
We also introduced our new print brand, Designs on Print to network members and delegates. Designs on Print offers signage and display, banner, poster and fine art printing, plus vehicle and surface graphics. Since we have extended our print range beyond photo boards over the years, the Designs on Print brand represents the more traditional print services that we offer.
